It has moments reminiscent of _Bedknobs and Broomsticks_, though it’s a long way from being anything like that film's quality. A good group of actors are involved; I wouldn’t say their talents were squandered exactly, but _Dad's Army_ just isn't something I enjoy. Final rating: ★★ - It wasn’t really to my taste, although I can see why some people might like it.
