Being part of a group like those kids would make encountering that bear truly awful. The way that animal’s death played out was really intense. The film manages to blend suspense and horror elements in an impressive fashion. I felt consistently on edge, eager to discover the resolution. While it doesn't rely heavily on graphic imagery, the deaths and narrative have a significant impact. A drawback is that Sam’s history isn’t explored beyond some brief dialogue. Aside from that small issue, I really enjoyed this film.
