The film scores 77 out of 100. Agent 47, who was trained from childhood to be an assassin, finds himself tasked with eliminating a Russian politician seeking the position of Premiere, only to discover he’s been manipulated into doing so. Timothy Olyphant seemed ideally suited for this part, lending a reserved yet appealing demeanor to a character who is practically invulnerable. The narrative itself is strong, and the action sequences—featuring both gunplay and martial arts—are well-executed. There's also an engaging dynamic between the assassin and a young woman he unexpectedly becomes responsible for. It proved to be quite entertaining.
