This is a fairly average Clint Eastwood movie. *Cry Macho* was agreeable; I got some enjoyment out of it. I didn’t feel deeply involved, but there aren’t any real problems with it either. I’d give it around a 7/10. It's remarkable that at 91 years old, Eastwood is still acting, directing, and producing films—you really have to appreciate his staying power! He’s still fun to watch, considering he started out in an uncredited part in 1955’s *Revenge of the Creature*. The supporting cast isn't particularly memorable, though Eduardo Minett and Natalia Traven are decent. That’s pretty much all I have to say about it; it's a film that meets expectations.
