The captain, preparing to set sail from San Francisco toward Hawaii on his new ship, immediately informs the mascot, "Thomas," that he'll be in trouble if any mice sneak aboard. Predictably, this doesn’t stop “Jerry,” who enjoys playing the guitar, and before long, their familiar comedic clashes find themselves happening on a boat. As is typical, the mouse manages to stay one step ahead—that is, until they stumble upon the ship's movie theater where a "Texas Tom" cartoon is being shown. A pause in hostilities? Briefly, perhaps! With an energetic soundtrack and a surprisingly startled seagull, it provides a solid seven minutes of entertainment.
