This low-budget crocodile movie, filmed in Thailand, is surprisingly watchable given the circumstances. A massive crocodile causes problems in Krabi, Thailand, while a self-important businessman attempts to shut down a private zoo by falsely accusing it of being responsible for the attacks. Peter Tuinstra portrays the lead character, who manages the crocodile farm, and Sherry Edwards plays his love interest, an agent representing animal welfare. Michael Madsen joins the cast later in the film as a skilled crocodile hunter. "Croc" (2007) was made on a budget of $750,000 and is presented as a TV movie, but it manages to be engaging for what it is. The most appealing aspect is the unusual backdrop of coastal Thailand and its culture. While some performances from the Asian actors are not great, you can accept that if you go along with it. Tuinstra is easy to root for as the main character, and Madsen delivers a solid performance despite the project’s limited scope. The female characters are noteworthy, though the filmmakers could have improved on their portrayal. The movie has a runtime of one hour and forty minutes and was filmed in Krabi, Thailand.
