I will admit, I hadn’t even watched the initial installment; I only checked this one out because of Brad Dourif. Even for someone who isn't familiar with the other films and typically doesn't enjoy space-themed stories, I must say that this was surprisingly enjoyable. SPOILER - However, I felt disappointed by the fact that in a movie featuring murderous little creatures, Brad Dourif’s character met his end via laser gun? Just like that? I generally dislike seeing characters pass away on screen, but they really could have given it a more memorable send-off.
