It's just another imitation built on familiar ground. The production values are decent, and a capable group of actors is involved; there’s action, violence, and significant consequences—essentially, everything the standard plot requires. However, the central dramatic elements don't manage to create any real emotional connection. It’s acceptable viewing if you aren’t anticipating anything special, but it’s not worth your time if you desire something more substantial.
