It’s described as a drama thriller, but it comes across more like a darkly humorous film, reminiscent of _'SUICIDE KINGS (1997)'_, though perhaps not quite as strong—expecting anything more might be unfair. At first, the editing felt rushed, and the runtime of 90 minutes seemed brief, but ultimately the movie establishes its rhythm. There are some plot inconsistencies present, yet it remains enjoyable throughout. John Travolta’s prominence on the promotional materials is mostly because he's the most recognizable actor involved; while his part is significant, several other performers actually have more time on screen. Michael Pitt was a major reason I wanted to see this film, but Dan Stevens and Edi Gathegi delivered stronger performances. If you’re in the mood for a dark comedy centered around some rather inept criminals, this would be a perfectly acceptable choice.
