It’s likely I will be criticized for what I am about to say, but I truly believe this collection of stories directed by Romero, with significant contributions from Stephen King, represents his best work beyond his zombie movies—and I’ve watched five of those. It’s among the very best films made by a single director and really overshadows 'Twilight Zone: The Movie,' which was released at roughly the same time. This is one that's worth buying to watch again and again, especially for people who enjoy horror. The 1980s weren’t all terrible.
