I have to admit, the movie’s promotional imagery initially caught my eye, and seeing Christopher Smith listed as director made me hopeful—I was anticipating something along the lines of his earlier work like *Severance* or *Triangle*. Let me get straight to the point: the concept is promising, but the actual film falls short. The plot has some serious issues; it feels disjointed and unbelievable. For example, how could someone simply vanish in a subway station? Do trains not undergo cleaning at night? And where did this child who supposedly lived in tunnels from World War II come from? It’s hard to believe that no one would notice the absence of people, particularly workers, from the subway system. That's just too far-fetched. Franka Potente, known for *Run Lola Run*, is unfortunately not good in this film. At least the dog has some redeeming qualities. :) I’m giving it a very reluctant score of 4.0 out of 10, or a C-.
