I did find *Crater* enjoyable, and it does function well. It isn’t groundbreaking, but what Kyle Patrick Alvarez and his team put together here is effective, at least to me. The story holds up thanks to strong performances, a good score, and acceptable visuals. Of course, there are some problems; I thought the disagreements among the characters felt somewhat artificial and exaggerated. Nevertheless, it coalesces into something pleasant, and I appreciated the ending’s gentle tone. It's unfortunate that Disney swiftly took this off their streaming platform, apparently for reasons unrelated to the film itself—it deserves a wider audience.
