I’m questioning the judgment of whoever greenlit this project, let alone decided to put it in cinemas—it feels more like something you’d stumble upon for free on Amazon Prime. I appreciate the performance of the main actress; I know her from YOU, but beyond that, this was simply a pointless film. Maybe the concept would have worked better as part of an episode of The Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt, years ago. It's possible. It’s disappointing that, despite its small $6.5 million budget and worldwide earnings of $35 million, another installment seems likely, although I wouldn't be shocked if it bypasses theaters and goes straight to streaming. **1.25/5**
