Despite having recognizable actors like Matt Damon, Jude Law, and Laurence Fishburne in a movie centered around a disease outbreak, the film didn’t quite live up to expectations; I found it rather disappointing overall. I had anticipated something considerably better, but the narrative lacked excitement and thrill. Many of the central figures seemed pointless and failed to engage me. Matt Damon portrays a character attempting to protect his daughter from the illness, which was one of the more compelling aspects, though this storyline felt rushed and could have been developed further to depict a more intense descent into chaos. The movie is passable, certainly, but it has noticeable shortcomings, and I personally wished for a darker conclusion.
