The new Bedrest film, also from 2023, proves to be a much more unsettling experience than its predecessor—the earlier one wasn't bad, really. It shares qualities with Ready or Not, featuring a supernatural presence that isn’t shown but is discussed throughout. The performances are excellent and the action sequences are effectively executed. The resolution feels satisfying and genuinely evokes sadness. A musical cue at the very end stood out to me because it sounded familiar; I eventually realized it was taken from End of Days, which creates an intriguing possible connection considering the movie’s storyline. Overall, I'd suggest checking this one out—I found it quite entertaining.
