The word "remake" usually makes me uneasy; frequently, these updated versions fail to live up to their predecessors. Nevertheless, this particular reimagining completely surprised me. While I wasn’t acquainted with the performer chosen for the part of Conan, I found his portrayal to be very good. The action sequences were superb and there was a great deal of excitement throughout, plus it looked pretty impressive as well! It proved to be a genuinely fun film that I'm happy to own.
