It’s just delightful! I recently rewatched this after about twenty years, since it’s been released in 4k. It really highlights how good movies used to be. The film is ridiculous, silly, exaggerated in every way, and completely unrealistic. But that's beside the point. It’s pure, straightforward entertainment, like an action comic book brought to life for grown men. The movie has it all, and everything feels carefully considered. I hope Criterion includes this in their releases and asks some of their experts to record commentary tracks about it. This film is now among my favorites, and I plan on watching it many more times. 10/10
