It’s great to see Yeon Sang-ho back with another film! Following "Peninsula," which didn't quite measure up, he seems determined to cement his place as a modern equivalent of George Romero, creating a zombie film that comes remarkably close to the quality of "Train to Busan." While the conversations aren’t particularly strong and it doesn’t have performances on par with those from Gong Yoo or Ma Dong-Seok, “Colony” manages to keep viewers intensely engaged throughout its two-hour runtime, filled with rapid and thrilling zombie pursuits. This has truly been an excellent year for fans of horror.
