It’s a decent revenge and assassination story, featuring scenes with genuine emotional weight and even some good performances, yet these elements don't quite manage to connect with viewers. The action is generally well done for modern standards, though one particular confrontation suffers from excessive blurry editing. There are moments where the film doesn’t quite hit its mark; the central character(s) possessed enough depth that several follow-up installments could have been made if they had been explored more fully. I'm glad I saw it and was amused by it, but it’s not something I would watch again.
