I had been noticing recommendations for Coherence on various lists highlighting excellent science fiction movies, which was odd since I wasn’t familiar with it at all. I happened to locate a free streaming option and decided to give it a try, and I’m really happy that I did. It's an incredibly inexpensive production featuring performers you likely won't recognize, but the story idea and writing are so skillfully done that this film completely astonished me! The sense of worry and unease experienced by the characters as they attempt to make sense of their circumstances is conveyed with remarkable skill, leaving viewers feeling disoriented, fascinated, overcome, and fully invested simultaneously. Seriously, you really should see this movie!
