I have to say, 'Coco' immediately ranks among my favorite Disney animated films. The entire film, clocking in at 105 minutes, is a pleasure from beginning to end because of its layered and significant narrative, combined with the stunning visuals and clever humor. I honestly didn’t anticipate it would be this impressive—and that’s precisely why I avoid learning about movies beforehand; I really enjoy being taken by surprise. The performers deserve considerable praise for their portrayals of these memorable characters. From Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) to Héctor (Gael García Bernal) and Ernesto (Benjamin Bratt), among others, they all deliver outstanding performances. It’s not just the characters that make this film so special; it's also the well-crafted story, which is told with great skill. It incorporates comedy alongside a lot of emotional depth—and there are some skillfully placed surprises as well. The depiction of the Day of the Dead celebration is truly remarkable, and the music complements everything perfectly. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly recommend that you do! It's fantastic!
