It’s entertaining to see a fresh take on a frightening premise. I thought this was a solid film, featuring some truly suspenseful scenes, characters who elicit empathy, and an effective plot development. Anthony is exceptionally unsettling, and I sincerely hope he isn't limited to portraying similar roles indefinitely, especially considering his previous work as Homelander. The direction is well-executed, and while the cinematography occasionally leans toward darkness, it doesn’t feel overly heavy and seems fitting for the story. The special effects are acceptable, and generally speaking, this makes for an enjoyable viewing experience.
