My mom was really fond of this movie when I was little; she even took me to see it three times at a cinema—I must have been around six years old. When I was younger, it seemed like just another entertaining action film with plenty of exciting violence and scary enough that I could brag about it to my classmates. Now, as an adult, it’s still a fun action movie full of enjoyable violence, even though the story doesn't entirely hold together—but honestly, that’s not really important because it's meant to be entertaining. It falls into that category of films where you don’t anticipate much before watching and end up getting exactly what it promises: uncomplicated action that has a distinct 1980s feel. I can’t think of anything wrong with it.
