If you’re feeling down, it’s more likely to frustrate than entertain. Everyone involved—both on and off screen—is at the top of their game, and Morris' score is consistently upbeat. Despite being a box office failure initially and receiving negative reviews from serious critics, Clue has developed a devoted following over time, reflected in its respectable rating on film databases. It’s difficult to wholeheartedly suggest it, as it appeals to a specific sensibility.
