Dave Cameron appears in one of the newer Disney Channel Original Movies, and I checked it out after seeing her in 'Descendants'. It’s an alright movie; nothing particularly stands out. The plot felt familiar—a standard sports story. Essentially, a girl who enjoys snowboarding finds herself dropped from the team and loses her boyfriend simultaneously. She then dedicates herself to training so she can show everyone they were wrong. The rest of the film follows her journey toward a big snowboarding competition. As is typical, it’s suitable entertainment for viewers on television, especially younger audiences. It's meant to be encouraging, but it relies heavily on what you already expect. I did pick up some information about snowboarding, although I felt like they could have explored that aspect more thoroughly. The side story involving dogs wasn’t unpleasant either. Generally speaking, the storytelling seemed fine until the very end. Some people might dislike the film because of its ending; it's rather straightforward, but that kind of resolution is common for Disney productions. It’s worth a look, though—there are many other DCOMs available that might be more appealing. _6/10_
