I wasn’t expecting much from the director of 'Superbad,' but this turned out to be a surprisingly strong film. It's disappointing that it was made for television, because the production values felt cinematic. Everything, from the title sequence to the acting and the settings, was well done. The movie centers on a man who relinquished his stake in a company, only to discover years later he’d forfeited a considerable amount of money. The film explores how he responds to this situation and what comes next. The casting choices were excellent; even the smaller parts featured recognizable actors. Larry David really stood out, as the story unfolds from his point of view. Don't dismiss it because it's a TV movie—it’s a distinctive and enjoyable story. It came very close to being flawless, with a good rhythm throughout. However, there were moments where it felt slow, with some scenes that seemed unnecessary and prolonged the length of the film. That said, I don’t have any major criticisms overall. It's not essential viewing, but you'd be doing yourself a favor by watching it. And I appreciated the end credits. _7/10_
