The film's prohibition in several Western nations suggests it strikes a sensitive chord with those holding authority. Typically, significant opposition indicates that something has hit its mark, and this motion picture certainly does. It brought to mind the Charles Bronson Death Wish films, but incorporates a highly contentious yet crucial issue of recent decades within Western societies: unchecked immigration and the accompanying increase in crime. There's a certain satisfaction derived from watching it, as it restores agency to native Europeans who feel abandoned by their political leaders, victims of violence, and silenced under pretenses of empathy and moral correctness. If you are aware of the cultural issues undermining Europe currently and have a desire for retribution, this film might be what you’re looking for.
