I didn’t realize until the opening credits appeared that this was an Uwe Boll film. I’ve seen quite a few of his movies over the years, and they've all been terrible, but this one somehow reaches a new level of badness. It seems like a hateful production from a bitter, unpleasant person—Uwe Boll—and it wouldn’t surprise me if an extremist right-wing group funded it, or if it was a propaganda piece from some oppressive regime, though he could just as easily have paid for it himself. The story revolves around a wealthy American landlord (a former military man) with daddy issues who constantly speaks like an edgy Reddit moderator. He travels to a European country—shot in Croatia, I believe—and proceeds to murder people simply because they’re migrants or supported by left-leaning individuals, cloaking his actions under the guise of them being evil. In this film, he's presented as a "hero of the people." The migrants are depicted as criminals who attack women in public and participate in rape sprees, all underscored by ridiculous news reports promoting racial conflict and hatred, with Uwe Boll listed as producer behind the scenes. There’s also an extremely unpleasant sex scene where Armie Hammer has relations with a prostitute in a building he rents to her pimp. The script reads like it was either written by an angry incel or cobbled together using AI—a hate-filled and xenophobic manifesto voiced through Armie Hammer. The editing is awful, the music sounds like rejected elevator tunes, and the acting is terrible. It’s just absurd. It would be laughable if it weren't so overtly vile, evil, and dehumanizing. **There’s nothing satirical or intentionally provocative about this movie.** It’s unbelievable that he’s been making “films” for decades and still lacks any talent or skill to make a movie look decent—to shoot it well, light it properly, write a good script, or edit it effectively. It's all the delusion of an incompetent, pathetic man with no value or talent attempting to comment on society, but only demonstrating his ignorance about it. Everyone involved should be ashamed; Armie Hammer has essentially ruined his career for the second time, and hopefully permanently. He was once considered a candidate to play Batman, and now this is where he’s ended up. He acts like a complete psychopath, serving as a mouthpiece for director/screenwriter Uwe Boll's hatred and malice. And I want to be very clear: Boll isn’t some counterculture artist or activist trying to make a point through shock value; this is just a tired scheme he's been exploiting for years—this is what he does, how he earns his living. Before AI existed, this was the standard for low-quality work. Ultimately, he can create whatever movies he wants, and they shouldn’t be banned, but that doesn’t mean anyone should waste their time watching them. If I knew people who participated in this project, I would tell them never to contact me again and block them. It was a complete waste of my time.
