A truly remarkable film, without a doubt. To my mind, *Citizen Kane* possesses an unparalleled quality in its execution – I honestly can’t think of another movie quite like it. It’s consistently engaging, and I appreciate how skillfully it was put together. The musical score is wonderful, and the acting from everyone involved is superb. Orson Welles, who also directed, is ideal for the main character's part. He delivers a phenomenal performance; Kane becomes completely captivating, even considering his flaws. I found myself enjoying all of the other actors as well, with Joseph Cotten (as Jedediah) and Dorothy Comingore (as Susan) being particularly noteworthy—George Coulouris (as Thatcher) also provides some amusing scenes. The editing and rhythm are two additional aspects that stood out to me, along with the impressive opening sequence *News on the March*. This is a film I’ve known about for years, so I'm happy I finally saw it – and thankfully, it lived up to expectations.
