It has a low-budget feel that’s surprising given its production. While funding was secured for this project, it wasn’t allocated effectively, which contributes to the film appearing inexpensive. The underwater scenes featuring real sharks are pleasant enough, but when the movie shifts to computer-generated imagery of a shark, the quality noticeably declines. The actors chosen were adequate, however, the writing and direction fail to elevate the material, and the plot itself is rather underdeveloped. It’s probably best to skip this one.
