It's puzzling to me why so many people have given this film ratings of 7 or higher. It definitely wasn't enjoyable for me. The three high school friends act in a way that is frustratingly foolish, careless, and irresponsible. Just one of them seems to possess any intelligence; the others are just silly and completely out there. Naturally, the plot mainly focuses on the character who’s off his rocker. The movie begins acceptably enough with the trio discovering a glowing alien object that grants them superpowers, and there are a few mildly amusing moments as they test those abilities. However, it quickly goes downhill when the eccentric character's behavior becomes increasingly unhinged. I could tolerate the dramatic events and strange actions if the film had other positive qualities like interesting visuals or good performances, but these elements are absent. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, since the movie was filmed in a shaky, handheld camera/documentary style that I really dislike. I have to say that I didn't find this movie very entertaining at all.
