Drawing on my background in historical study and fascination with ancient texts, I can confirm that the history of Christianity is marked by instances of persecution and killings targeting individuals who held more progressive and compassionate views regarding Jesus and scripture. It’s my sincere hope that a broader range of thoughtful Christians and people of faith will view this work and initiate further reform within religious institutions, beginning from within.
