It had its moments of genuine humor. However, *Christmas with the Kranks* definitely doesn’t maintain its initial energy throughout. I enjoyed the beginning quite a bit, particularly watching the two main characters interact. The conclusion didn't work for me; it felt overly sentimental and unresolved. Thankfully, the film is brief, so that issue isn't too problematic. Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis are good together in the lead roles, and Dan Aykroyd fits comfortably alongside them when he appears. The supporting actors are perfectly adequate. The story itself doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking, but it kept me entertained. It was a pleasant film to watch.
