This is a really solid stop-motion animated film! I watched *Chicken Run* quite often when I was younger, but it’s been ages since I last saw it, and it's remarkable considering it was released in 2000. Even though the movie has a straightforward feel, the central idea is very well thought out. The length of the film goes by quickly. Everything looks great, naturally, but what really struck me was how smoothly paced it is. Julia Sawalha truly shines as Ginger; she’s wonderful. Timothy Spall and Phil Daniels, playing the rats Nick and Fetcher, are funny too. Mel Gibson, who voices Rocky, is alright, but not particularly memorable. It's an enjoyable and engaging narrative! It’s absolutely worth checking out if you haven’t already seen it. I am curious to discover what direction they will take with the next installment.
