I went into this expecting something enjoyable, but that wasn’t really what I got. The movie centers on Cherry Falls, where a serial killer is focusing on students and specifically choosing virgins as his victims. The film feels rushed in places, though it does have a certain attitude and some playful moments. It turns the typical horror trope—where teens having sex leads to their demise—on its head; here, the characters need to lose their virginity to survive! There are genuinely funny lines throughout, so pay attention while you're watching, and the cast, including Michael Biehn, Jay Mohr, and Brittany Murphy, delivers a lighthearted performance even as the violence unfolds. Figuring out who’s behind it all isn’t much of a challenge, and once the flashbacks start revealing everything in the last part of the movie, the suspense really disappears. Despite that, there's still enough of the familiar teen-stalker horror to make it entertaining. I’d give it a 6/10.
