The movie *Cheetah* is surprisingly acceptable, even though I didn’t really have a great time watching it. It's an unremarkable way to spend about ninety minutes if you’re looking for something to do. The scenery and the animal sequences are pretty good. The storyline isn't one that will stick with you because it doesn’t offer anything new or particularly captivating. The performers are adequate; I was pleased by Lucy Deakins (Susan), Collin Mothupi (Morogo) and Keith Coogan (Ted)—he has a resemblance to Tommy Kirk, something Walt Disney would have likely appreciated. However, the grown-up actors aren't as strong. There isn’t much else of significance to say about it. It’s easily overlooked, but it moves along quickly and isn’t unpleasant to watch. Also, it turns out this film used “Hakuna matata” before that obscure movie from 1994, which is kind of funny!
