It was an okay thing to watch once, but I don’t plan on revisiting it, and I can’t really suggest it to others. I didn't find the computer-generated visuals particularly appealing, nor did I like how little focus there was on the princess characters. Even the way the prince’s curse was played up felt uninspired, and it wasn’t a significant element because the plot mainly revolved around escaping a location where it would have been important with someone who has protection from it. There's not much that stands out as engaging beyond what functions like an obstacle course, and even that held only slight appeal. I picked up on several subtle themes about gender roles, fairness, and prejudice, but my lack of engagement probably means I wouldn’t have noticed them if I hadn’t been so disinterested.
