Champions is a sports movie intended to make audiences feel good, and it succeeds in that goal. Bobby Farrelly ensured a diverse group of performers were given opportunities to stand out, benefiting from the considerable charm of Woody Harrelson and Kaitlin Olson, which helped navigate some of the trickier scenes.
