This unusual film blends action, thriller, romance, and comedy elements, showcasing exaggerated performances from both Hopper and Foster. Certain moments feel uncomfortable, and the pacing lags at times. While Hopper’s portrayal isn't as extreme as in some of his other roles, there are still a few odd instances, such as when he plays the saxophone. It's not terrible, and apparently this home video release is better than the original theatrical cut, which Vestron significantly altered without Hopper’s consent and credited to Alan Smithee. I imagine it would be enjoyable with an audience because some scenes are wonderfully strange. **2.75/5**
