This movie is a really strange combination of elements—you’ve got the Frankenstein story, references to 1984 and the Holocaust, plus extreme violence reminiscent of games like Final Fantasy—all supposedly promoting world peace. The dialogue is awful, full of melodramatic Japanese excess and an incredibly irritating musical score that I wish I could destroy. I'll give it a little credit for its visuals; they aren’t really to my taste, but there was clearly some work put into them, similar to what we saw in "300."
