It’s true that *Cars 3* is better than *Cars 2*, although not by a significant amount. The narrative feels more complete compared to the previous movie, despite its somewhat disappointing finish. The film centers on Lightning McQueen initially, which makes sense, but then it oddly shifts focus to Cruz Ramirez for the ending. I appreciate what they were trying to achieve, but the execution felt clumsy—it was too contrived and disregarded much of McQueen’s development in the first two acts. However, this isn't a major problem. I still enjoyed watching it. Owen Wilson is reliably good as McQueen, and Cristela Alonzo delivers a strong performance as Ramirez. A positive aspect of Alonzo’s portrayal is that Disney avoided the predictable romantic storyline. The other cast members don't particularly stand out, though it was nice to hear Kerry Washington voicing Natalie Certain. Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) seems to be used sparingly, which is strange considering how much he featured in the 2011 sequel—they haven’t quite figured out his ideal role. The core concept itself is engaging, and the animation quality remains excellent. The conclusion wasn't entirely satisfying for me, but I would still suggest seeing it.
