The film feels secure and well-managed. Several jobs unexpectedly open up at the Helping Hands Agency, bringing welcome opportunities for a group of people who’d been struggling to find work. As other viewers have noted, this fifth installment in the Carry On franchise doesn't offer much of a storyline. The movie essentially follows the seven agency employees through various short scenes; their assignments include tasks like walking chimpanzees and modeling lingerie! Each segment provides some lighthearted comedic moments, with highlights including Joan Sims becoming intoxicated at a wine-tasting event, Charles Hawtrey getting into a boxing match against a large man, Kenneth Connor participating in a spoof of *The Thirty-Nine Steps*, and all the staff being thrown into disarray during an Ideal Homes Exhibition. Meanwhile, back at Helping Hands, Sid James and his secretary Esma Cannon are baffled by Stanley Unwin’s frequent appearances and nonsensical speech, which culminates in a large ensemble scene where everyone enjoys themselves. There's also the usual pleasure to be found in identifying up-and-coming British television and film actors who make brief appearances. *Carry On Regardless* sees the filmmakers working on familiar and pleasant territory. It isn’t necessarily the best of the series, but it’s enjoyable and allows some often overlooked comic performers to showcase their talents. 7/10
