I must admit I'm somewhat let down by this movie. I recall seeing the original short film that inspired it some time ago, and it managed to deliver more impact in just seven minutes than this full-length version does across over an hour and a half. The performances are solid across the board, and everyone involved did commendable work; the visuals and location are also quite impressive. However, the narrative feels stretched too thin and doesn't have enough substance. There are a few intriguing concepts present, such as the 48-hour timeframe for the infection and the wristbands displaying that countdown. Yet, the way the plot is expanded upon seems artificial and ultimately pointless. The whole thing could easily have been resolved much quicker—and likely should have been—which is precisely why the short film was so effective. Overall, it’s an acceptable movie, but given its origins, I expected something truly exceptional. 6/10
