I’d been aware of this movie because of a certain internet joke, and I eventually sat down to watch the John Hughes-written romantic comedy with crime elements, but ultimately it didn't click for me. The performances from Frank Whaley and Jennifer Connelly felt unconvincing, as did their on-screen chemistry. There were moments that elicited some laughter, though mostly this is a pretty unremarkable and easily overlooked movie, except perhaps for the scene featuring Connelly on a mechanical horse. Without the existence of Home Alone 3, it could possibly be considered John Hughes’s weakest screenplay. **2.5/5**
