I generally don’t care for romantic comedies; there are a few movies that break through my aversion, but most of them I find myself actively disliking. The films I do enjoy tend to be newer releases—one even stars Alexandra Daddario! So, despite my usual resistance to the genre, I was open to trying _Can You Keep a Secret?_. Sadly, it turned out that might have been a mistake. It deviates somewhat from the typical romantic comedy formula that bothers me so much, but it’s still connected to those familiar elements in ways that kept me from connecting with it. _Final rating:★★ - Not really my thing, though I can see why some people would like it._
