During the brief period when she was at her peak, cut short by her untimely passing, Monroe possessed an undeniable beauty and charisma that overshadowed her abilities as an actress. After getting used to Logan’s approach to directing and the story's unusual premise—a fish-out-of-water scenario involving a rodeo—I managed to relax and appreciate it. While the movie doesn’t showcase Marilyn’s strongest vocals, since her character is initially depicted as a poor singer, it does contain some of her finest performances, as she discovers that people are accepting her for who she truly is. It's unfortunate that this didn't occur in reality. I am not suggesting that it’s an exceptional film; however, it isn’t the average or unremarkable movie that others often describe it to be.
