I've had experiences with movies where rabbits seemed kind of scary—it could be something like “Donnie Darko” or even "Watership Down"—but this “Bunny” seems destined for a very still existence as she goes about baking. A moth keeps buzzing around, and she gets it outside, but then it comes back inside and ends up mixed into the batter. Instead of removing it, she just puts the whole thing in the oven, figuring it’s extra protein. She feels pretty out of it afterward and goes to sit down for a nap. Then her oven starts acting like a washing machine, making a lot of noise and light, which wakes her up and draws her closer to remember easier times with someone she cared about. It's hard to believe this was computer-generated; the level of detail is impressive. I don’t know how realistic the moth’s movements were, but it’s clear there was creativity involved, along with a touch of melancholy. Considering what happens later on, it might not be appropriate for small kids who might want to wander off and investigate things.
