The film opens with Mickey working on a construction site when Minnie shows up with his lunch. A string of accidents lands him in hot water with his supervisor, though he’s saved by the break whistle, allowing him to spend some time with her. However, the foreman also has an interest in Minnie, and before long, the mice find themselves needing to avoid his attention. I honestly don't understand the name—there isn't a lot of construction happening; instead, Mickey and Minnie get into some animated, silly physical comedy involving "Pegleg Pete." The animation tells this rather chaotic story with charm, giving many of the tools human-like features and expressions, and there’s even a kiss at the very end. It probably won't stick with me for years to come, but it’s pleasant enough to watch for about seven minutes.
