I was hoping to like *Brothers*, especially considering who’s in it, but ultimately it didn't work out well. It felt awkward and disjointed, and even though it doesn't overstay its welcome, the pacing is off. Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin aren’t particularly engaging when paired together, and while Brendan Fraser and Glenn Close are present, they don't make a significant impact; it looks like a strong cast on paper. However, I didn't get much from any of the actors' performances, and they’ve all done considerably better work. Max Barbakow is in the director's seat, and like the film itself, his follow-up to *Palm Springs* isn't quite as impressive.
