The opening presented a group of people wearing dark clothing, with hymns sung without much feeling, and a sinister religious leader. There was also a depiction of abortion early on—within the first fifteen minutes. I realized from the title alone that it wasn't the kind of western suggested by the picture on the box. I couldn’t manage to watch past twenty minutes before stopping it entirely. The film appears intent on discrediting what I consider to be a very positive and important message—the teachings of Jesus Christ. It also reinforces my belief that movies with "R" or "MA" ratings are simply not worth exposing yourself to. The performers did a commendable job; they acted their parts effectively. However, the content itself, the writing, and even the concept behind it aren't worthwhile.
